Sherif Botros, PhD, MBA

Sherif Botros is the Vice President of Data Science at Reboot Rx, where he leads the development of AI-powered technologies to accelerate drug repurposing for cancer. He brings more than 30 years of experience spanning artificial intelligence, healthcare, and enterprise technology. Since joining Reboot Rx, he has advanced the organization’s use of large language models and machine learning to improve automation, accuracy, and scientific rigor across the research process.

Sherif shapes the data science strategy at Reboot Rx and has built scalable, transparent systems that help researchers and clinicians identify effective, affordable treatments more efficiently. His work reflects a strong belief that thoughtfully applied AI can expand access to care and improve outcomes.

Prior to Reboot Rx, Sherif held senior leadership roles at Reliance Health, Wells Fargo, Gainsight, and SAP Labs. He holds a PhD in Computational Neuroscience from MIT, an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
